AN ANGEL:: Alex Lee
Alex Lee. His work was excellent, he was easy to work with, friendly, respectful, patient, and he promptly supplied me with a wealth of great prints. I can't say enough good things about both him and his work.
A BAD PHOTOGRAPHER:: Tim Wang
He's based in San Francisco. He was rude and difficult to work with. To add insult to injury, his photography skills are HORRIBLE! Don't let the expensive wide format camera fool you, this guy cannot shoot for beans. When I saw the contact sheets I was so disappointed. There was one entire page that was either completely out of focus or not framed properly. The whole shoot was a big waste of time because none of the pictures were usable.
Bad experience number two with Mr. Wang was when a friend of mine had the misfortune to ask him to shoot some of her stuff. Not only was he rude and overly talkative with the models, he gave my friend a VERY hard
time about getting prints. Once we got the prints most of shots were not usable because of his lack of basic photography skills and imagination. We all worked so hard on that shoot and it was just a waste of time and energy.

I'd like to share some info on a bad modelling agency.
POW Power of Women, it is a scam.
The Franch lady Silva never pays you or just half way pays and never gives you the rest.
Ignores your phone calls and tries to get away without paying you for a long long time.
A terrible agency.
She use to teach as a teacher for modelling and acting for John Robert Powers.

Please tell me your experiences too, good and bad. I
showed up at Sherb's place and he did not talk much,
it was very scary. He was in this hot metal shed
working on glass, but everything had spider webs on
it. I think he was just doing it for show. He kept
walking aoround and seemed very aggressive. I had
sent him my pic and everything on the web. He had
called me ten times. I sttod in the sweltering heat
of the shed and sun for 30 minutes before I began to
realize he was trying to make me physically weak..Soon
he ran upstairs and brought dwon a yound girl and
asked her to shake my hand. It was so fucking
strange, like I was to be part of some orgy. I noticed
an unopen box with an imported glass sculpture in it
of a woman marked "MADE IN ITALY"..the same piece he
put on his website and said he made!!! I began
getting really scared. He asked me if I knew what the
number thirteen met. He said in Egyt, a man had many
wives. I said I was there to model for a sculpture.
He said if I did not play along, there would be no
work for me. he started picking in the girl's eye
because she got something in it. He did this for 20
MINUTES, and wandered around the place. He would not
let her in his house. The girl obviously was some
kind of possession of his he had under some weird
control. I felt so goddamn sorry for her I wanted to
cry.
He began touching the little girl and she started
screaming at him, but he kept doing it. He stumbled
back and knocked over this cage thing, and thats when
I noticed how old he was, like 70 or something. There
were lots of little dust-covered paper weights he had
made. There was a crate of modeling wax on the floor
which had never been opened, and I think that was for
show, because there was absolutlety no evidence of
used sculpture materials. He was so fucking dangerous
a man, I was so terrified. I told him I was not going
to lay with the girl and he said I was too small for
his sculpture. I got the hell out of there. I am
shaking as I type this...
